ThinkFirst of the Ark-La-Tex is a state chapter of the ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation. Founded in 1996, the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of ThinkFirst has shared injury prevention education with more than 206,000 children, youth, and adults.
We have several programs, each aimed at helping children, youth, and adults think about actions and change behavior so they prevent injury and death.
Our programs cover driving safety, such as drunk and distracted driving, and general community safety education.
Our mission nationally and locally is to prevent brain, spinal cord and other traumatic injuries through education, research, and advocacy.
